Privacy Policy

ToolKosh is currently a beta self-assessment tool optimized for Indian service-led businesses. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain English. It is product copy for beta transparency and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before a broad public launch.

What we collect

  • Your diagnostic answers, including your business type, customer, problem, offer, pricing, costs, channel, validation evidence, and compliance/admin answers.
  • Your email address, if you voluntarily join the waitlist or request updates.
  • A hashed version of your IP address for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and basic service protection.
  • Basic analytics events such as diagnostic started, step viewed, result viewed, waitlist requested, feedback submitted, and share clicked.
  • Optional result feedback, if you choose to tell us whether the result felt accurate or useful.

What we do not collect

  • Your name unless you type it into an answer yourself
  • Your phone number
  • Payment information of any kind
  • Passwords or account credentials
  • Cookies that track you across other websites
  • Analytics properties containing your raw business answers or waitlist email

How we use your data

Diagnostic answers are used to generate your result page, improve scoring quality, find confusing questions, debug technical issues, and protect the service from abuse. Feedback helps us calibrate the beta before a wider launch.

If you join the waitlist, we may email you about ToolKosh updates, beta feedback, or future reports. We do not sell your email or diagnostic answers.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data, waitlist email, or diagnostic answers. We may use service providers for hosting, database storage, analytics, and email delivery. Those providers process data only so ToolKosh can operate.

Retention

Diagnostic submissions are retained while the beta is running so your result page can be displayed and the scoring model can be improved. Waitlist emails are retained until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe. We may keep aggregated, non-identifying learnings after deletion requests.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of your result or waitlist email, contact hello@toolkosh.com. Include your result link if you want a specific result deleted. We will make a reasonable effort to process deletion requests within 30 days.

Beta status

ToolKosh is still being calibrated. Result pages may change as we improve scoring, copy, and supported use cases. The current beta is designed for Indian service-led founders, freelancers, consultants, coaches, tutors, local service providers, and small agencies.
